This superb sturdy, solid mahogany 19th century English table has been professionally restored and hand decorated with great attention to detail by a talented artisan, using an original geometric design in shades of faded olive green, black and white with touches of blue and old gold in the centre.
The table top has a chamfered edge with a deep skirt and is supported by a sturdy rounded pedestal decorated with a striking design. The substantial feet are decorated with a small floral design and stand on working castors.
The top tilts smoothly using the original brass mechanism on the underside of the table top and can be detached if required. This feature makes it a versatile piece, allowing space to be saved if not in use.
