19th Century Swedish Wooden Horse

An absolute beauty! This handsome, heavy, carved horse was made with great attention to detail in the early 1800s.
Constructed from solid Swedish pine, it has an original leather halter strap around the neck and a full horse hair tail.
The carving is superbly detailed - the horse has been given muscle, sinew, facial details and fabulous hooves.
Free standing but with the option of standing it on a later added rocker (included) this is an exceptional and charming piece of antique Swedish art.
